Welcome to Pasar Jasa, the ultimate marketplace for professional services in Indonesia! Whether you're a lawyer, accountant, consultant, or any other professional, Pasar Jasa is here to help you connect with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that need your expertise.

Getting started

Here’s how to get started on this exciting journey:

  • Click on the ‘sign up’ button (top right of screen) and complete the short form.
  • Verify your email address - it’s quick and secure.
  • Click on your profile icon (top right of screen) then ‘profile settings’. Here you can populate your profile and include a friendly photo.
  • Click on your profile icon (top right of screen) then ‘account settings’ then ‘payout details’. One click on ‘create account’ (no further information necessary) will set you up to get paid – super easy.

Pasar Jasa curates the Professionals that list with us. To ensure that only the profiles of invited & qualified Professionals are published, our Admin needs to approve your sign-up before you’ll be able to post listings. Please be patient while we attend to this.

When you have posting rights you’ll be able to click the ‘post a new listing’ button at the top right of screen and populate new listings. To help our Professionals make a great impression on Customers, Admin will review and approve draft listings before they are published.

Pasar Jasa was designed to help you thrive. Here’s what you can do:

  • List services to be promoted to potential customers.
  • Chat with Customers directly through our secure messaging system.
  • Adjust service specifications (including price and scope) in real time.
  • Decide which jobs to accept or decline – you are in full control.
  • Get rated and build your reputation with every completed job.

Payments

Here’s how our secure payments system works:

  • A Customer requests to book your service, and you accept.
  • The Customer makes payment in full before you commence service delivery.
  • Payment is held in escrow and released automatically after the job is complete.
  • A payout link will be sent to your registered email address and you can specific your preferred payout method.

Clients pay a small, fixed fee (IDR99,400) regardless of transaction size. Professionals receive payment in full - no deductions.

You’ll find our competitors charge commissions of 10%, 15%, or even 20% making them more expensive for any transaction of IDR 1 million or more.

Tax

As a professional offering services on Pasar Jasa, you are responsible for managing your own tax obligations. This includes:

  • Value Added Tax (VAT): If your annual turnover exceeds the threshold set by the Indonesian government, you must register for VAT and charge it on your services. VAT should be included in your listing price (not a separate line item). The current threshold is IDR 4.8 billion.
  • Income Tax: You are required to report your income and pay applicable income tax. Ensure you keep accurate records and file your tax returns correctly.
