How buying works on Pasar Jasa
- Fixed scope, fixed price. Each listing sets out what will be delivered and when. You agree the price with the Professional before work starts. Once you accept the quote, the scope and price are fixed.
- Your money is held until the work is delivered. You pay into escrow, and the Professional is paid on delivery.
- Disagreements are decided on what was agreed. A dispute is decided on the listing and the accepted quote: quickly, privately, and without lawyers.
- One fixed fee. Customers pay a platform fee of Rp 95,000 per transaction. The Professional pays nothing and keeps 100% of their price.
- Reviews from real engagements. Every review comes from a completed, paid transaction.
- Professionals we would use ourselves. Licences are checked before a Professional is listed, and Professionals who fail to deliver are removed.
Common questions
What taxes does a PT PMA file each month? Usually withholding tax on salaries and on payments to suppliers, a monthly corporate income tax instalment, and VAT if the company is registered for it. Monthly tax is generally due for payment by the 15th of the following month, with returns by the 20th. This is general information; your obligations depend on your circumstances.
What is Coretax? Coretax is the tax office's new core tax administration system, introduced in 2025. Registration, payments and most returns now run through it, so every company needs a working Coretax account.
I've received an SP2DK letter. What should I do? An SP2DK is a request from the tax office to explain data it holds about your company. It is not yet an audit, but it has a deadline, and a weak or late reply can lead to one. Have a tax consultant review the letter and your records before you respond.
Does my company need to register for VAT? Registration as a VAT-registered business (PKP) becomes mandatory once annual turnover passes Rp 4.8 billion, and some companies register earlier, for example to recover input VAT. A tax consultant can tell you whether it makes sense for you.
Can I get a VAT refund in Indonesia? Overpaid VAT and other tax can be reclaimed, but a refund claim usually leads to a tax audit, so your records need to be complete before you file. Professionals in this category prepare refund claims and support you through the audit.
